Position purpose / general responsibilities

  • Analyse customer behaviour data to identify trends and patterns in sales, customer traffic, and other retail metrics.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track retail performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and marketing, to develop strategies to improve customer experience and drive sales.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decisionmaking across the organization.

  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of changes to retail operations.

  • Monitor and report on competitor trends and industry benchmarks.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer behaviour and preferences and provide insights to improve the customer experience.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis.

Experience / Knowledge / Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in the retail industry.

  • Proficient in Excel and other data analytics tools.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Retail experience would be of great benefit.
